Guest appearance from my Shiloh friend Batya

"Read My Lips"

That's a saying Daddy Bush was well-known for.

Bush The 2nd has also been pretty clear about his opinions, if you bother reading his lips. The problem is that most Israelis just read the "edited" news and keep being "surprised."

All along, the Bushes have said that to them Ramat Eshkol is not different from Ma'ale Levona, and Har Chomah is just as bad as Otniel. It should all be judenrien according to the Bushes and their staff.

Rice, who was accompanying Bush en route to Israel overnight Tuesday, said that "the United States doesn't make a distinction" between settlement activity in east Jerusalem and the West Bank and that Israel's road map obligations, which include a building freeze, relate to "settlement activity generally." (complete article)

Strangely, it doesn't seem to bother anyone, left, right and center of the international political spectrum when apartheid means JEWS KEEP OUT. The Bush-Olmert-Rice-Peres (etc. ad nauseum) policy is an extreme and primitive form of segregation, based on religion and nationality. Arabs have freedom of movement, and the law protects their rights to live where they wish and buy homes where they wish. Only Jews are not allowed full civil rights in our Historic Homeland.

The Olmert Government is excitedly salivating as they announce their plans to destroy Jewish homes and communities. Like happy puppies they cheerfully await the approval of their foreign owners.

No pride.

The Israeli Government has allowed Bush's security staff to dictate the conditions of his visit to Israel. The fact that hundreds of thousands of innocent and peaceful Israelis are having their lives seriously disrupted. Businesses have been forced to close until the visit invasion ends, and that includes doctors and dentist offices. Streets have been cleared of traffic and that includes pedestrians.

As an American-born citizen of the United States and an Israeli by choice, I am sickened and embarrassed by this crass display of power and repression. There is no reason for treating us as criminals, just excuses. I believe that actions speak louder than words. And the actions of Olmert and and the actions of Bush and his entourage are not those of western, democratic leaders.
The America, which educated me, taught me to value the rights of its citizens and allowed the voices of dissidents to be heard.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Polls show that both Olmert and Bush #2 are unpopular in their respective countries. I guess that all these emptied streets and armed guards make them feel important and valuable. We're all waiting for them to jog off in the sunset together.

I received this in an email from my Uncle Ralph

I received this in an email from my Uncle Ralph. No author to attribute this to, but will worth reading.

Subject: FW: Something to think about??

A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

"Very few people were true Nazis "he said," but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories."

We are told again and again by "experts" and talking heads" that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims. The hard quantifiable fact is that the "peaceful majority", the "silent majority", is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic Murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were "peace loving"?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up , because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, at the risk of offending, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world wide, read this - think about it - and send it on.

Uncle Ralph, Thanks for sharing.

Youths Arrested For Anti-Bush and Olmert Posters

1 Shevat 5768, 08 January 08 12:51

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139412

(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem Police arrested at least six youths overnight for hanging posters criticizing US President George W. Bush, President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

The posters showed the three men in Arab-style kafiyas, with the caption: "enablers of terror." It is unclear what the activists will be charged with.

Police said those arrested said they were just workers hanging the posters after being hired by right-wing elements.

www.IsraelNationalNews.com © Copyright IsraelNationalNews.com

"right-wing elements" Wonder what that means. Must be the elements on the right side of the periodic table. The Periodic Table is often seen as a poster in a classroom. Makes sense to me.

Seems to me that ones to be arrested are in fact the "enablers of terror". Clearly what they are doing is detrimental to the life and limb of innocent people. But hey, this is a democracy after all.

Imagine that. An ancient Muslim Holiday sure trumps Rosh Chodesh.

Imagine that. An ancient Muslim Holiday sure trumps Rosh Chodesh.

Temple Mount Closed to Jews Upon Rabbis' Arrival

1 Shevat 5768, 08 January 08 12:43

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139420

(IsraelNN.com) Jerusalem police closed the Temple Mount to Jews Tuesday morning, preventing rabbi from the Judea and Samaria Rabbinic Council from ascending Mt. Moriah, Judaism’s holiest site.

Police on site told the Jews who arrived that an ancient Muslim holiday had been found to be taking place and therefore Jews would not be allowed to enter the site. The police could not name the holiday.

“It seems that the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site, will be the first thing to be handed to [US President George W.] Bush on a silver platter," the Movement to Prepare the Holy Temple said in response. "The Jewish nation must oppose in every way the abandonment of the Temple Mount and Jerusalem to foreigners. We must be faithful and act with self-sacrifice against the initiatives of our enemies, both without and within.”

Soldier To Be Judged For Visiting Bethlehem Mechanic

Soldier To Be Judged For Visiting Bethlehem Mechanic

29 Tevet 5768, 07 January 08 12:09

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139347

(IsraelNN.com) An off-duty Golani Brigade soldier and his friend were removed from the Arab-occupied city of Beit Lechem (Bethlehem) by PLO officers after the two brought their car to be fixed at a local garage.

The two armed Jews were unharmed, but army officials criticized their entrance to the town as stupid, saying they could have been kidnapped. The soldier was questioned by Military Police, and is expected to receive a severe judgment. His friend, a 16 year-old, will likely be indicted for entering PLO-controlled areas.

Several days ago, an off-duty Nahal Brigade soldier entered Beit Lechem with two people who wanted to see Christmas trees. He was sentenced by a military court to 28 days in prison.

www.IsraelNationalNews.com © Copyright IsraelNationalNews.com

So let me understand, Bethlehem, where our Mother Rachel is enshrined in a guarded bunker. Where our Mother Rachel was buried in a plot of land that our Father Ya’akov purchased, long before Islam, the religion of PEACE was founded, is ‘off-limits’ to Jews. ‘Off-Limits’; to the degree that it is considered a criminal offense.

The off-duty Golani Brigade soldier and a friend brought their automobile to a mechanic, while I personally encourage the use of Jewish Labor, I can see how this is a punishable office, hiring a mechanic to work on one’s car.

I remember that back in the States, auto mechanics where often called: Highway Robbers. This for taking advantage of stranded motorists.

What gets me is why the IDF feels that two unarmed Jews in Bethlehem is stupid. Our PM Ehud Olmert has said that we are on good enough terms with our Arab neighbors to release ANOTHER 400 CONVICTED Terrorists.

To the Nahal Brigade soldier, sentenced by a Military Court to 28 days in prison for escorting two people into Bethlehem who wanted to see Christmas Trees, I have but one question: what made you think that there were any Christmas Trees in Bethlehem?

Since the Israeli government pulled out of Bethlehem, there has been a mass flight of Christians from Bethlehem due to the rise of Islamoterrorism in Bethlehem.

Again, it is interesting to see that this non-violent search for Trees has resulted in punishment of a Jew.

Report: Barak Cracks Down on Teenaged Activists

The following article appeared on Arutz 7.

Report: Barak Cracks Down on Teenaged Activists

23 Tevet 5768, 01 January 08 09:40

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139038

(IsraelNN.com) According to Haaretz, Defense Minister Ehud Barak has lead a campaign to harshly punish young activists who attempt to build new Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. Barak has urged police to file complaints against the young activists. While police initially argued that the activists’ “offense” did not warrant an indictment, policy has changed and approximately 20 indictments have been filed against activists over the past two months.

Barak has reportedly demanded weekly updates on the steps being taken against the young nationalists. He has called for “serial offenders” to be sentenced to time in prison.

www.IsraelNationalNews.com © Copyright IsraelNationalNews.com

What it doesn’t say is that there are currently 8 high school girls, 14 years old who are currently sitting in Prison. Their alleged crime? Striving to be attached to the Land that G-G gave their Grandfather Avraham as an inheritance.

Unlike the policy makers in the government, these young women have a moral compass. They are refusing to provide the ‘authorities’ with their names. They say that they do not recognize the jurisdiction of the anti-Jewish governmental court system. They will recognize a Rabbinical Court. A Court, where the system of judification is based upon the ultimate Truth of the Torah that G-D gave him people.

DM Barak, please oh please start acting like the Ben Melech – Son of the King, which is your inner core. Please stop acting as an enforcer of some alien entity’s misguided policies. Please start reading the Bible with your mind on connecting to your heritage.

Arabs Attack Car Near Hevron

Arabs Attack Car Near Hevron

26 Tevet 5768, 04 January 08 03:15

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139238

(IsraelNN.com) An Israeli car was stoned by local Arabs north of Hevron Friday. No injuries were reported, but the car was damaged.

www.IsraelNationalNews.com © Copyright IsraelNationalNews.com

Ever wonder how a car acquires a nationality? Since most cars in Israel are Japanese imports, it must have spent a lot of time in line at the Misrad HaPanim –Interior Ministry applying for a Teudah Zehoot – Identity Card. I am really curious as to how it ended up in the proper line.

Seems to me that a proper presentation of the news would be:

During an attempt to murder Jews, Arabs Attack Car Near Hevron

‘Friday, during another attempt at murder by local Arabs north of Hevron, a car, containing Jewish residents was stoned. Thank G-D, no injuries were reported. The former Japanese car was damaged.’

Maybe, if the news was reported with a focus on the intended victims, not their tangible property, the deadly significance of the attempted murder might actually have an impact on the situation.

Yesha Rabbis Call For Temple Mount Prayers

Yesha Rabbis Call For Temple Mount Prayers

26 Tevet 5768, 04 January 08 10:01

by http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/139227

(IsraelNN.com) The Yesha Rabbis Council has announced a series of protests to coincide with the visit of US President George W. Bush to Israel from January 9-11.

The Council called on Jews to visit the Temple Mount on Tuesday morning, January 8, and to "pray for the cancellation of evil plans." Earlier this week, Minister for Internal Security Avi Dichter issued a ban on Jewish prayer at the site, calling it a "provocation" and saying individual prayers would "almost certainly lead to bloodshed."

Jewish groups have long been forbidden from conducting "inflammatory" public prayer services on the Temple Mount, but individual prayers have been permitted.

www.IsraelNationalNews.com © Copyright IsraelNationalNews.com

Let me get this straight: Praying to G-D is a “Provocation” and “Almost certainly lead to bloodshed”

And we are expected to have these people as PEACE partners.

Get real PM Olmert, President Bush, Sec State Rice.

Is Abbas really a Peace Partner ??

Dear President Bush and Other Spheres of Influence,

I am a US citizen, currently residing in Shiloh in Samaria in the Biblical Heartland of the Land that G-D gave to my Father Abraham as an inheritance from among the nations. Throughout the Old Testament Bible there is reference to this Land that my forefathers walked. From Shchem (Nablas), Shiloh, Beit El, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron to Beer Sheva, this was and is called the Patriarch's Highway. It is this claim to this Land that I rely upon for the continuing right to live on this land.

I have attached a PDF file which lays out for you the case that Abbas and Fatah are not interested in peace. It lays down the facts to show that the only peace that they are interested in will be the one that comes when they have succeeded in pushing ME, a US citizen, and all of my fellow Jews into the Mediterranean Sea.

Abbas' brothers in Gaza, those murderers in Hamas have proven their goodwill intentions by aiming Katuscha Missiles at innocent residents of Ashkelon. This in addition to over 6,400 terror attempts at murdering innocent men, women and children in the city of Sderot over the past 7 years.

President Bush, there has not been a look in the direction of what was supposed to be required of the Arab partners in the Road Maps towards peace.

President Bush, PLEASE, I implore you as a US citizen AND a resident of Shiloh, cancel your trip. Stay home. Read the Bible. Check out the Books of Samuel, in which the connection of Shiloh to the life of Samuel the Prophet can clearly be seen.

Here is a way to walk daled amot in Yehudah:

EVENT Hebron Tour for Women

Posted by: "chaya gross" chaya770@netvision.net.il

Wed Jan 2, 2008 8:36 pm (PST)

January 31 day trip to Hebron, leaving Jerusalem at 9am and returning by 3. Unique opportunity to learn about an amazing woman who moved to Hebron almost 200 years ago and we will be visiting her kever on her yartzeit. The Rebbetsin Menucha Rachel Slonim. For details contact chaya770@netvision.net.il

Still time to book your flight reservations from Chutz.

It is with a tremendous amount of humility that I find my words touching so many other people. I have merited having one of my articles published on the Arutz 7 opinion page.

Titled: Yes, I Live in Shiloh.

It can be viewed at: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/7662

This is almost the same article with which I started my Blog.

I wrote the following after reading 25 readers’ comments to the OpEd article:

Thank you all. It is truly an amazing experience seeing the broad range of feelings, emotions and thoughts that my words could evoke. This is my first published article.

I think it is important to state a few things, first, while I understand that there is an active Xtian readership on Arutz 7, my thoughts are directed to my fellow B’nai Yisroel.

Second; to all of you brothers and sisters living in Eretz Yisroel; Kol HaKavod.

To those of you who either have lived or are living in Shomron and Yehudah, the Biblical Heartland of this Land that G-D gave to our Father Abraham as an inheritance, I say that I am Jealous of the many daled amot that you have walked over the time that you have lived here. Jealous, because I am a newcomer.

You have the merit of having raised every day to day task from mundane to kedushah.

Third, while we cannot rely on miracles, we also cannot rely on the flesh and blood who march to their own drum beat.

Our challenge is to continue to get closer to G-D. To show him that we are serious about this gift that he has given Klal Yisroel. To embrace his Torah and with that his Gifts.

It is currently a Shimittah Year, in which, there are restrictions on how we may use the actual soil of this Holy Land. Those of us living here have the daily opportunity to be reminded of our connection to G-D with every meal we eat.

Brothers, sisters living Chutz L’Aretz, while I said that it is a truly amazing experience to view my readers’ comments, I think that I would prefer less words and more action on your part.

It is time to vote with your feet and do the deed of Aliyah. If you have what to say, then come home and say it here in Eretz Yisroel. Your words will be imbued with the Kedushah of the AIR of Eretz Yisroel.

ELAL reservations can be made at: http://www.elal.co.il/ELAL/English/AllAboutYourFlight/PostFlight/OverseasOfficeEn3.htm

Delta reservations at: http://www.delta.com/planning_reservations/index.jsp

I am sure that you can get a Glatt Kosher meal on either airline.
